These terms apply to pixelatetools.com. If you use the site, you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the site.

1. The service

Pixelate Tools provides free browser tools that pixelate an image, reduce or remap colors, and export a PNG, a color list, a symbol chart, or Nonogram clues. Features can change or break. There is no uptime promise and no support contract. Email to the contact address is a courtesy, not a service level.

2. Your images

You may only open images you have the right to use. The tools do not give you a license to someone else's photograph, logo, or character. They also do not take one away. Pixelate Tools does not claim ownership of your source file or of the PNG, chart, or text you export. Because processing is local, we never hold a copy to assign back to you.

You are responsible for what you do with the export, including selling a stitched piece or shipping a game asset. If the source was not yours to use, the export is not a clean file just because a grid was applied.

3. Color, charts, and puzzles

Floss numbers are nearest matches against a published reference list. They are not a spectrophotometer reading and not a promise that a skein will look like the hex on your monitor. Bead brand codes come from community measurements and are approximate; a plain reference palette without product codes is also available. Nonogram clues describe filled and empty cells. They are not certified as unique-solution puzzles. You should check anything you will buy, build, or give to another person.

4. Trademarks

DMC, Perler, Hama, Artkal, Pico-8, Nintendo, Game Boy, Minecraft, and other names mentioned on the site are trademarks of their owners. Pixelate Tools is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those owners. Names are used so you can tell which reference a page is talking about.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attack the site, probe it for someone else's data, or use it to distribute malware. Do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions. Advertising on the pages is part of how the site stays free. Do not click ads mechanically or encourage others to do so.

6. Advertising and third parties

Pages may show third-party ads, including Google AdSense. Those vendors use their own terms. Outbound links leave this site. We are not responsible for the content of other sites.

7. Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Pixelate Tools is not liable for lost thread, wrong bead counts, rejected game assets, or any indirect damages arising from use of the tools. Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limits apply as far as they are allowed to.

8. Age

The site is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age required to agree to these terms where you live, do not use the site unless a parent or guardian agrees for you.
