Drill codes follow the same published floss list many kits print. Confirm against your kit chart before you order bags.

            
Shopping list includes a rough skein guess (~1800 stitches per skein for 2 strands on 14-count). Adjust for your strand count and leftover floss.

Page 1 is what you hand a solver: title, color key, clues around an empty grid. Page 2 is the filled answer with the same key. Layout follows the NonogramGo generator print style — scaled to fit A4.

Empty color first


Upload a high-contrast logo or crop a silhouette. Choose the empty swatch that matches the backdrop. Preview should read as blobs, not salt and pepper. Gray halos? Raise contrast. Dither stays off so runs stay clean.

Confetti clues


Wrong empty color inverts the subject. Stacks of 1s on a busy photo mean you need a tighter crop or fewer colors, not a uniqueness pass we do not run.


Copy clues still dumps row and column text (color mode uses index:length pairs). The printable sheets are the main deliverable.


No uniqueness promise


Clues match the preview. Two fill patterns can share the same runs. Pixelate Tools does not include a Nonogram player and does not certify uniqueness. Print the sheets and solve by hand, take the text into your own solver, or play curated puzzles on NonogramGo.

What should the empty color be?
Usually the background — often the most common swatch. Everything else is a fill color in the clues and color key.
How do I print?
Use Print sheets or Download PDF. You always get two pages: the puzzle (clues + blank grid + color key) and the answer key.
Is grid size limited?
Yes. Width is capped at 45 cells so a full puzzle stays on one A4 page. Square boards go up to 45×45.
How many colors?
Up to 10 including the empty color. Two colors is classic black-and-white. More colors use ordered color-run clues.
